EFT

EFT also known as “tapping” is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine with modern psychology. It involves gently tapping on specific acupressure ponts on the body while focusing on emotional issues or negative feelings. EFT aims to release emotional blockages and reduce the intensity of negative emotions by disrupting the body’s energy flow, which is believed to be disrupted during times of emotional distress. By tapping and verbalizing affirmation or acknowledgments of the problem, individuals can often experience relief from anxiety, stress, trauma, and other emotional challenges. EFT is appreciated or its accessibility and potential to provide emotional relief without the need for extensive talk therapy or medication.  

During an EFT session, the individual focuses on a specific issue or problem while tapping on designated points on the face, upper body, and hands. The process involves repeating affirmations or statements related to the issue, allowing for the release of negative emotions and the establishment of positive affirmations.  EFT can be effective for various conditions, including stress, anxiety, phobias, traumatic experiences, pain management, and emotional healing.
